Scuderia Toro Rosso will unveil its 2016 livery during the second pre-season test in Barcelona on March 1, it has been announced.
Following a late switch to 2015-spec Ferrari engines, the team at Toro Rosso faced an uphill task to make the necessary changes to the rear end of the chassis and get the car rolling for the first time.
While the team was successful in this regard, it got little time to work on its livery, forcing it to run a bare, dark blue-coloured car during the first test.
Now, with more time at its disposal, Toro Rosso has finalised its colours for the 2016 season, with the livery set to be revealed before the start of the second test in Barcelona.
Toro Rosso finished 7th in the constructors’ standings last year, 11 points shy off Lotus. The Faenza-based team expects major gains from switching engine manufacturers.
