Lewis Hamilton won a controversial Mexican Grand Prix which turned to its head in the final two laps. Max Verstappen cut the first corner while defending Sebastian Vettel, who, in turn, changed direction under braking a few corners later while battling with Daniel Ricciardo.
Max Verstappen was handed a five-second penalty for cutting a corner, promoting Vettel to third spot on the podium. After further investigations, Vettel himself received a penalty, with third place eventually going to Ricciardo.
