After another terrible qualifying session that led to a backlash from fans, Formula 1 delivered yet another exciting race in Bahrain.
The first part of the race was particularly enthralling with plenty of carbon fibre flying around as multiple drivers made contact while battling for position.
In the end, it was the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg who emerged as the race winner, beating Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen comfortably to make it five victories in a row. Lewis Hamilton made a poor getaway and subsequently made contact with Williams' Valtteri Bottas, damaging his car. He recovered enough to take the final spot of the podium.
