Mercedes will launch its 2017 Formula 1 car at Silverstone on February 23, it has been announced.
Due to a radical overhaul of regulations and delayed start to pre-season testings, teams are keeping it as late as possible in unveiling their new cars.
Reigning world champions Mercedes will showcase their machine at Silverstone, where they will also conduct a filming day.
Mercedes has also started an online competition where selected fans will get a chance to witness the launch live at Silverstone.
The German outfit is yet to confirm Nico Rosberg’s replacement, although Valtteri Bottas is widely tipped to partner incumbent Lewis Hamilton.
Mercedes has become the second team to announce their launch date after Ferrari, which will unveil its new car in similar fashion at Fiorano on February 24.
