![]() Lewis Hamilton topped the second free Friday practice session by setting up a lap time of 1m38.172. Michael Schumacher was 0.3 second slower than the McLaren. The German posted a lap time of 1m38.533. Their team mates Jenson Button and Nico Rosberg were fourth and fifth quickest respectively. The British driver's lap time of 1m38.535 was just two-thousandth of a second faster than Rosberg's. Daniel Ricciardo and Fernando Alonso were happy to post the fifth and sixth fastest time of the session; they were separated by just four hundredth of a second. Red Bull had a tough Friday with Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel seventh and tenth fastest respectively. While Jean Eric Vergne and Romain Grosjean finished in top 10(8th and 9th respectively), the Force Indias of Nico Hulkenberg and Paul di Resta were 11th and 12th respectively behind William's Pastor Maldonado. Paul di Resta had a quite a adventurous day visiting gravel on turn six and fifteen. Kamui Kobayashi and Kimi Raikkonen were separated by less than 100th of a second. It was another bad day for Massa as he was 16th fastest, 2 seconds off Hamilton's pace followed by Bruno Senna and Sergio Perez. Vitaly Petrov was fastest among the new teams setting up a lap time of 1m41.464s; his team-mate Heikki Kovalainen finished two places behind in 21st. Timo Glock and Charles Pic finished in 20th and 22nd place. Both HRT's were within 107% of Hamilton's lap time, 5.5 second off Hamilton's 1m38.172.
