American racing team Haas has launched the VF-17, the car with which it will contest in the 2017 Formula 1 season.
Only the second F1 car from the Haas’ stable, the VF-17 has been built in conjuction with Italian partners Dallara and Ferrari.
Haas has tweaked its livery for 2017, with the white portions on the car extensively replaced with grey colour.
The car also carries a shark fin and a thumb nose, as seen on the majority of the cars on the 2017 grid.
The VF-17 will be driven by a formidable line-up of multiple podium finisher Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen, who joins Haas after a year-long spell at Renault.
Haas finished eighth in its debut season last year, with 26 points - all of which were scored by Grosjean, The American outfit made a rocketing start to their F1 tenure with a pair of top-six finishes in Australia and Bahrain, before their performance tumbled due to a majority of issues.
The VF-17 has already made its track debut, with Haas having utilised one of its several filming days in Barcelona yesterday. The pictures of the new car were subsequently leaked online.
