Jules Bianchi born in 1989 is currently employed for Marussia and is also part of Ferrari's Driver development programme. It was expected that Ferrari would name Bianchi as Massa's replacement in 2009 after the near death incident that Massa suffered. In 2012, Force India announced that Bianchi was loaned by Ferrari. Bianchi competed various kilometeres driving on Friday Practice sessions, and was expected to be part of the main lineup in 2013.
