Pastor Maldonado has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. He has been involved in multiple collisions and accidents, from smashing into the wall on the final lap in Australia to colliding with de la Rosa on the very first lap of Monaco GP. Looking at these silly mistakes, its hard to believe that he's a grand prix winner. Apart from 25 points he won with Spain victory, the Venezuelan has managed to score only 4 points. For his careless mistakes, he's been criticized by drivers and fans alike.

We've thus made this list on Maldonado's accidents this season. We hope that he stops making such mistakes but if he doesn't, we'll update the article with the same.

Australian Grand Prix

Pastor Maldonado qualified strongly in 8th place at the first race of the season in Australia and was running in 6th place behind Alonso in the final stages of the race. On the final lap, he pushed too hard and smacked his Williams in the wall at turn 6 losing out 8 points.

Monaco Grand Prix

Monaco turned out to be a incident packed weekend for Maldonado. Firstly, he made contact with Perez in FP3 for which he  was given a 10 place grid penalty(he was given a further 5 place penalty for gearbox change). He later crashed out at Casino Square during the same session.
Maldonado started the race from 24th for sunday's race but the Venezuelan's race ended before it started. He hit de la Rosa's HRT at the start and the subsequent damage forced him to retire from the race. The term 'hero to zero' was then commonly used to describe the 27 year old who won his maiden race a fortnight ago.

Canadian Grand Prix

Maldonado looked set to go into Q3 during Canadian qualifying but spun at the final corner - the wall of champions bring his and others' flying laps to halt. He thus qualified in 17th place but was later given a 5 place grid penalty for gearbox change. The Williams driver finished the race in 13th place.

European Grand Prix

Maldonado was in pursuit of Hamilton in closing stages of the race, who in turn was struggling on worn out tyres. On the second last lap, Maldonado tried an unsuccessful move over the Brit; both drivers were running side by side on the back stage with Hamilton not ready to give up position. In the following corner, the Venezuelan collided with Hamilton forcing the latter into the barriers and retirement. Maldonado continued following a pitstop to finish in 10th place. Later Stewards gave him 20 second place penalty for the same which dropped him to 12th place.

Another race, another accident, this time with Sauber's Sergio Perez. Both the drivers made their pit stop on lap 11 and were fighting with each other for positions. Perez tried an move over Maldonado at Brooklands corner but the latter gave no space to him as both collided. Perez was forced to retire from the race with suspension damage while Maldonado continued after making a pit stop. The Mexican was frustrated with the accident and called Maldonado a "stupid driver''. Later FIA reprimanded and fined the Venezuelan 10,000 euros.

I believe everyone should lay off the guy, he's still very new to F1
It seems that because of the incidents with Lewis there's a hate campaign against him…had those ones with LH been with another driver it woulda blown over faster.
In Barcelona he proved he has the skill to win races , hopefully more wins will come .
